Presidents Message - Winter 2009
Greetings to all, hope this finds you all on the late tail of the economic upturn. With shops reporting improved sales and actively and aggressively seeking out new clientele, we are all in for a better year to be sure.
On that note I would like to talk about one of our biggest goals as a board this year, and that would be our membership drive. Membership has been down from past years. Hard as we try to offer more benefits, it is more difficult with smaller numbers. The more actively involved members we have, the more attractive we are to groups such as insurance companies, retirement & investment companies etc We have a great dedicated board who are all working to recruit. Your involvement in being a part of the organization leading the industry that you love is hugely important. We all benefit so much from each others experience, skills, and connections.. More...
