KCs Florals - KCBio: Keili “KC” first cultivated her love for plant science through the National FFA Program in high school & more notably in college while attending classes to obtain her B.S. in Agricultural Education at Oklahoma State University. Keili founded KC’s Floral Designs in October 2020, in honor of her late grandmother (and namesake), as a way to carry-on her “lead with love” spirit and spread joy through flowers. She originally opened a retail flower shop in South Phoenix/ Laveen areas but quickly realized her passion truly lies in weddings & brand activations. In just a few short years, KC has won multiple awards including 2023 National Mayesh Battle of the Blooms winner and 2024 Best Florist by Arizona Bride Magazine. Lux – Brent LBio: Brent Leech, current Vice President of AIFD and chair of the student membership committee, began his career after graduating college and was inducted into AIFD in 1988. He has taught in numerous settings including at the American Flora Art’s School in Taipei. Brent founded JBL Designs in 2001, served as Manager/Designer for Town and Country Gardens in Illinois, and held leadership positions in various floral organizations. In 2022, he relocated to Phoenix and now works as the senior floral education coordinator, visual merchandiser, and designer at Arizona Flower Market and works alongside LUX Wedding florist.
