Q: What time does Expo Start?

Q: What can I expect?

A: You can expect a FULL day of design classes, business classes, vendors, tips, tricks, trends, inspiration and networking! ASFA has been hosting annual expo for over 70 years and it is a wonderful event that we look forward to every year! 

Q: What is Designer of the Year? 

A: Designer of the year is design competition held every year at expo. Contestants are given a theme to follow and guidelines for your creation. You will assemble your design onsite and will also be given a surprise package. Surprise package includes flowers and containers needed to complete the piece a long with a theme. Winner of Designer of the Year gets bragging rights and a monetary prize. You also are now able to compete in other competitions like California or Arkansas. Those competitions are stickily for people that have already won their states competition. 

Q: Is there a designated Hotel? 

A: Marriott Tempe Buttes is a close hotel that most people stay at. Hotels in Phoenix during the summer are discounted, no group code needed!
