DOY competition Prep Rally

The 3 F’s of Competing 

Successful competition starts with a plan. By breaking down each design into three key steps, designers can approach the challenge with greater confidence. This thoughtful preparation reduces stress and allows competitors the freedom to be more creative and expressive on stage.

10:30-12:00pm

Hands on Centerpiece Workshop ($35 to Register)

Led by Nicholas St Clair AIFD CFD

Kick off the weekend by designing stunning centerpieces that will be featured as the table décor at Expo the next day!
Please note: your beautiful creations will stay overnight at the venue to help decorate the Expo — you’ll be able to take them home after the event.

12-4pm

Florist Flea [flor-ist flee] noun   ($50 per booth, 10 booths available) 

  1. A pop-up marketplace created specifically for floral professionals to buy, sell, or trade gently used industry goods such as vases, vessels, tools, stands, props, design books, and containers.

  2. A vibrant, community-driven event where creativity meets secondhand charm.
    Example: “I scored the perfect compote bowl at the Florist Flea!”

Get to know our vendors! Each vendor will be given the opportunity to give attendees a quick commercial about who they are and what they have to offer. Chance to win a Raffle prize as well!

Annual Awards Luncheon / AzMF Induction

Eat lunch and watch our new AzMF Grads get Pinned! We also take time to recognize and award other flower friends as well!
